Tuition & Financial Aid
Our discounted tuition for evening programs puts education at a highly regarded private university within your reach. Even better, your tuition includes all fees and your books, which are delivered to you in class. Tuition for the 2014-15 year is $510 per semester credit; Whitworth’s evening tuition rate is competitive with other local universities: Check it out and see how we compare. You won’t have to pay for parking, either – even at our downtown location.
Financial aid is available for those who qualify. We also offer several payment options, including monthly plans, payment by credit card, and employer reimbursement.
Financial aid is available to Whitworth students to support their investment in their education. Students do not have to be in a low-income category to qualify, but they do need to apply to be considered for financial aid. The Whitworth Financial Aid Office (509.777.3215) is eager to assist you in determining the best way to fund your education.
Students applying for financial aid of any kind must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. List Whitworth University on the FAFSA along with Whitworth's IV code, which is 003804. Only domestic and permanent residents are eligible for financial aid through the FAFSA.
Assistance for Veterans
The Post-9/11 G.I. Bill, which offers federal benefits, is designed to provide substantial educational benefits to servicemen and women. It covers a large part of the cost of a Whitworth degree. Visit our website to learn more about the veteran education benefits available to you.
Whitworth's veterans advisor in the registrar's office (509.777.3798) can assist you in determining your eligibility. The Whitworth Financial Aid Office will then work with you to ensure that you receive the proper assistance.
Payment options are available, including monthly payments with a minimal set-up fee. Contact the Whitworth Student Accounting Services Office at email@example.com for information.
