Research & Internship

The Whitworth Art Department encourages all students to pursue internships in their vocational fields. Internships can range from Jan Term immersive off-campus experiences working in arts organizations or professional museums to assisting a local small business with its graphic-design needs. Students also have an opportunity to assist their professors and visiting artists with research and creative work. Students from the art department have written sections of instructional manuals and helped print original editions of prints with nationally known artists.
