Academic Calendar

Students take one class during each six-week session and can earn at least 24 semester credits in a year. For financial-aid purposes, taking 24 credits in an academic year is considered full time. Students may choose to enroll in one additional course each regular term (fall and spring). However, students may not take more than one additional evening course at Whitworth each regular term in addition to the accelerated six-week-format courses.

The sessions for the 2009-010 academic year are:

Session 1 -- Aug. 17 to Sept. 25, 2009
Session 2 -- Sept. 28 to Nov. 6, 2009
Session 3 -- Nov. 9 to Dec. 18, 2009
Session 4 -- Jan. 4 to Feb. 12, 2010

Spring
Session 1 -- Feb. 15 to March 26, 2010
Session 2 -- March 29 to May 7, 2010
Session 3 -- May 10 to June 18, 2010
Session 4 -- June 21 to July 30, 2010
