Ann Teberg is an Associate Professor of
Education and Director of Student Teaching. She also teaches Elementary
Reading Methods courses. Ann has taught in public and private elementary
schools in Washington and California. Prior to coming to Whitworth, she
taught a variety of Literacy courses and was the Director of the Undergraduate
Program in the Department of Education at Eastern Washington University.
Dr. Teberg has made several professional presentations at state, regional
and national level conferences in the areas of literacy, professional
development, and accommodating diversity in the middle school classroom.
Dr. Teberg serves as past president of
the Spokane Area Council of the International Reading Association (IRA)
and a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development
(ASCD) and the National Middle School
Association (NMSA). She served as conference
chair for the Washington Organization for Reading Development (WORD)
statewide conference in 2002.
