Master of Arts in Teaching, Emphasis in Gifted and Talented
This program is designed to train teachers
of the gifted and talented, as well as mainstream classroom teachers,
to evaluate and utilize appropriate current trends and research ideas,
develop differentiated curriculum for all students, and individualize
instruction so that each child's needs can best be met.

Numerous approved Gifted and Talented enrichment
short courses are offered each summer during the day. Limit of seven semester
credits. Other electives must be approved by the Assistant Director of
