Gifted students, an often-overlooked group in student populations, need a particular type of instruction to thrive in school and in society. This specialty endorsement emphasizes curricular and instructional needs of students and focuses on strategies for identifying and reaching exceptional students in both mixed-ability and self-contained classrooms.

How to Apply
Admission documents needed for the specialty endorsement:
- Whitworth GSE application form with $35 application fee; if you would like a paper application, please contact us by phone or e-mail as indicated below.
- Official transcripts (Order these from ALL colleges and universities previously attended, and have them sent directly to the Graduate and Continuing Studies Admission Office.)
- A copy of your current, valid teaching certificate
