Gregoire to Attend Statewide Summit on Creativity in Public Schools The purpose of the summit is to reinforce the premise that creativity matters, to demonstrate that creativity can be taught across all disciplines, and to emphasize that it therefore must be taught. The day-long summit will feature a keynote address by Governor Christine Gregoire, panel discussions by national experts, hands-on workshops with some of the state's most imaginative teachers, and focused discussions on the cross-sector commitments needed to keep creativity at the center of a meaningful education.
