Whitworth University Master in Teaching Program

NEW: Part-time, 25-month option

Whitworth now offers its highly acclaimed MIT program on a part-time schedule, as well as its full-time, 13-month schedule. Classes are offered during the day; as a part-time student you will usually attend class 2-3 times weekly, and complete your master's degree and teacher certification in just 25 months.

The MIT program provides schools with well-trained, enthusiastic,
high-energy teachers ready to have an impact upon both the educational system and individual students in very positive ways. Participants enter the program having completed a bachelor's degree in an approved teaching endorsement area. MIT graduates concurrently earn a master's degree and a Washington State Teaching Certificate. As a result, they are highly sought after by school principals who realize and appreciate the maturity of the students, the quality of their preparation, and their eagerness to influence student achievement.
