Whitworth University Writing RallyThe 29th annual Whitworth Writing Rally will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013.
The Whitworth University Writing Rally is a family literacy initiative for students in pre-school through 6th grade. The event features a presentation by a well-known children's author, followed by a time for participants to work with area teachers or Whitworth education students to create an original illustrated book by hand or with a computer. The Writing Rally provides an opportunity for children to develop their reading and writing skills with assistance from a professional author and trained educators.
