Facilities

Weyerhaeuser Hall, Whitworth's newest academic building, opened in fall 2004. The building is named for C. Davis and Annette Weyerhaeuser, longtime supporters of the university. Dave Weyerhaeuser was also a lifetime Whitworth trustee, serving from 1941 until his death in 1999. Weyerhaeuser Hall includes the latest in teaching and learning technology in its classrooms and Robinson Teaching Theatre and houses the School of Global Commerce & Management, the Weyerhaeuser Center for Christian Faith & Learning, a regional resource and research center devoted to alleviating poverty in Spokane, and the departments of history, political science and sociology.
