About the Degree

Innovatively integrated with Whitworth's MBA curriculum, the Master of International Management Degree Program grounds students in essential business-management skills while helping them to develop effective intercultural competencies. This is the program for students looking to open doors beyond the local marketplace. Special studies in foreign languages, international transactional law, and global management prepare students for advancement in international organizations. With their worldview, Whitworth MIM graduates are highly valued by companies seeking to establish an international presence.

The MIM Degree Offers:

  • an intercultural focus in all student experiences -- the classroom, team study, and interactions with a culturally diverse cohort group;
  • practical knowledge of a foreign language for managers;
  • instruction that stresses the role of Christian ethics and other value systems that may guide managers in their decision-making;
  • small classes that offer a balance of analytical and humanistic curriculum.

Our faculty brings a wide variety of international experiences to the program and incorporates participants' interests into each class. Moreover, our multicultural graduate students bring valuable expertise from a wide variety of professional and academic backgrounds. The program also seeks to tailor portions of its curriculum to each student's career objectives in business, service, nonprofit or government organizations.
