IM-Agents Project: Status & Future

Currently in place:

  • IM-Agents - Strong multi-agent infrastructure system
  • ERMA - Decision support for shock scenarios and stabilization of arterial blood gases
  • Proof of concept demonstrations including a virtual patient, visual injury locator, symptomatic and systemic decision outcomes, advisory interventions

In progress and immediate future:

  • Refinement of agent negotiation process
  • Extension of medical decision logic
  • Refinement of user interfaces, catering to medical personnel
  • Preliminary Intervention Knowledge Base

Targeted for 2004-2005:

  • Collaboration with a Medical Research Institution
  • Expansion to broader critical care environments
  • Data collection and dynamic data integration and analysis
  • Expansion of Intervention Knowledge Base
