Personal Page: Ben Brody

Benjamin Brody holds degrees in Choral Conducting from Whitworth University (BA), University of Washington (MM), and is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Washington where he studies with Abraham Kaplan and Geoffrey Boers. Mr. Brody teaches and directs internships in the newly formed Certificate in Church Music program and coordinates music for campus worship services.

Prior to joining the Whitworth faculty, Brody served as Director of Worship and Music at First Presbyterian Church of Seattle where he conducted the chancel choir, bell choir, worship ensembles, and coordinated the church's annual concert series. Mr. Brody is active throughout the Northwest as a clinician on worship and church music topics. Currently he serves as Repertoire and Standards Chair for Sacred Music on the board of the Washington American Choral Directors Association.
