Whitworth University Costa Rica Center > Campus >
Originally built as a Belgian restaurant and hotel, the Whitworth University Costa Rica Center campus has been remodeled into an academic building and dormitory. It sits in a beautiful meadow across from two lakes often frequented by many different species of birds, dragonflies, and other visitors.
The Academic Building is made up of two classrooms, a "comedor", or cafeteria, the main campus kitchen, faculty and staff offices, the library, as well as common areas for studying and relaxing.
Both buildings have Wi-Fi internet access. The academic building has four desktop computers available for student and guest use.
The Dorm Building is made up of 10 comfortable, four-person rooms, as well as the Professor's Suite. Each room contains two bunk beds, large closets, a desk, fireplace, and a full bath. The suite contains a master bedroom, full bath, as well as sitting room, children's bedroom and fireplace. Each and every room has access to hot shower water due to our solar panel water heating system.
