Today started early as we planned to get on the bus at 6 a.m. However, the bus was running late so we got to enjoy the sunrise from the roof while waiting for the bus. Once on the bus we enjoyed a breakfast of Indian pastries and bananas.

After a two hour bus ride we arrived in Mysore and had tea before our meeting at Infosys. As we pulled into the Infosys complex we were all impressed by how nice the campus was. We had a short presentation on the Infosys Learning Institute and the intense training programs that the Infosys employees go through. Once the presentation was finished we got a tour of the campus and got to see some of the unique attributes of the campus, which included multiple movie theatres, residence halls, restaurants, pools and even a bowling alley.

The next stop of the day was the Mysore palace. Throughout the palace there were amazing paintings as well as ornate wood carvings. The detail throughout the entire palace was breathtaking and we were all impressed. Outside the palace we received a nice surprise and once again we were able to ride an elephant. This thrilled everyone who missed out on the opportunity the last time.

After we enjoyed our rides on the elephant we got back in the bus and drove to Brindavan Garden. This garden backs up to a very large dome and when we walked up to the top we were rewarded with an amazing view of the sun setting over a lake as well as the gardens below. We stayed in the extremely crowded gardens for a while and then started to head back to Asha Kiran. By the time we had dinner and made the two-hour drive back it was past midnight and we were all very tired and went to bed right away after an extremely long day.
