Japan Program

This course provides a comparative analysis of Eastern and Western philosophies of athletic health care.  The course is instructed at various locations throughout Japan.

This 18 day study program in Japan is restricted to Athletic Training Majors only. 

Students will focus on the following essential questions:

  1. What does it meant to be a global citizen?
  2. What are the religious differences between Japan and my faith?
  3. What are the differences between Eastern and Western philosophies of healthcare?
  4. How is sport different in Japan
  5. What is my worldview?
  6. What is different about gender in the Japanese culture?
