We finally made it to South Africa! After 25 hours of traveling we arrived in Cape Town. We were able to enjoy the summer weather right away, taking a trip that afternoon up to the top of Table Mountain, from which we could see the crystal-clear views of the surrounding areas and the ocean. After that journey to the top, our jet lag kicked in and we barely made it through dinner before we crashed to start afresh the following day.
