Graduate Student, Master of International Management
This whole Thailand thing is growing on me, not so much the food, but
almost every other aspect is phenomenal. Who knew winter could be such
an amazing time of year. After growing up in Northern Ohio, I am growing
weary of snow, freezing rain, minus zero wind chill, etc. Northern Thailand
winter climate could be the ideal climate for a guy like me. So Mom, if
you are reading this, there is about a 77 percent chance of me not returning
to Spokane. But that's just a rough estimate. More importantly, our time
in northern Thailand is almost over, next stop Ko Somoi. Leaving Chiang
Mai is proving to be bittersweet. Throughout the past few weeks I have
developed many new friendships with undergraduates and graduate students.
I look forward to furthering those relationships when I return to Whitworth.
Yes, the reality of Spokane is drawing near. But then my life has been
more surreal than anything throughout the past year or so, especially
as I write this journal entry in Thailand of all places. What a life God
has blessed me with!
