Psychoanalysis:  All Things Freudian (Chapters 2 and Anna Freud reading)
Sigmund Freud, Anna Freud, and the psychoanalytic heritage

 

Unit II - "Overcoming the Father"

Jung & Adler (Chapters 3 & 4)

Horney and Others (Chapters 5, 6, & 8)

 

Unit III - What Else Is There?

Humanism:  All Things Bright and Beautiful (Chapters 11 & 12)
Rogers & Maslow

Cognition: "Little Grey Cells" (Chapter 13)
Kelly

Rats and Genes:  Biological Typologies & Behaviorism (Chapters 9, 10, & 14)
Allport, Eysenck, & Skinner

           Watch & Learn!: Social Cognition (Chapter 15)
           Albert Bandura

Calendar:

Week 2: Intro continued, begin Freud

Week 3: Freud - Quest 1 due

Week 4: Finish any Freud, add Anna Freud – Quest 2 due

Week 5: Jung, Take Home Exam 1 due

Week 8: Rogers & Maslow – Take Home Exam 2 due
