Student's graduate work with women in India featured March 9 on KXLY 4

Tune in to KXLY News 4 tonight, March 9, at 6 p.m. to view a feature story about Whitworth Master of International Management student Jennifer Van Vleet, '04, who participated in Whitworth's Jan Term trip to Thailand, then continued on a solo journey to Calcutta, India, for her MIM graduate project. While in India, Van Vleet met with women, former prostitutes, who are now employed by Jute for Freedom, a business that makes Freeset Bags made with jute fiber. Van Vleet's graduate work involves establishing a Jute for Freedom marketing base in the United States.
