Weyerhaeuser Hall, which was dedicated in fall 2004, is named for C. Davis and Annette Weyerhaeuser, longtime supporters of Whitworth. Dave Weyerhaeuser was also a lifetime trustee of the university, serving from 1941 until his death in 1999. Weyerhaeuser Hall includes the latest in teaching and learning technology in its classrooms and in Robinson Teaching Theatre. It houses the School of Global Commerce & Management, the Weyerhaeuser Center for Christian Faith & Learning, a regional resource and research center devoted to alleviating poverty in Spokane, the Center for Service-Learning and Community Engagement, and the departments of history, political science and sociology.
