Academic Initiatives - Graduate School Initiatives
  • School of Education
At its spring retreat, the School of Education faculty discusses several options to integrate Christian faith and vocation. These ideas included developing an elective course for students, working with educator Parker Palmer's institute, developing a common language through reading groups, and discussing the issue of faith and public education. The School participated in the fall 2002 Faculty Development Day, with increased focus on mentoring and continue to pursue faculty and staff development. For more information, please contact Dr. Dennis Sterner.

  • School of Global Commerce and Management
The School of Global Commerce and Management is working to integrate faith and vocation into its current programs. The School will work to cultivate its "Business Plus" program, which brings together Whitworth alumni and current students, as well as creating more opportunities for students to participate in vocational experiences. Contact Dr. Kyle Usrey for further information.
