An
Update on Our Progress
Dale
Soden, Co-Director
After a hectic year, we have just completed our first stage of a five-year
grant, "Discerning Vocation: Community, Context and Commitment,"
awarded to Whitworth University from the Lilly Endowment, Inc. My co-director,
Terry McGonigal, and I have been scrambling to get off the ground the

students' lives. more...

to say about vocation. more...
Professor's Book Helps Students
Connect Belief, Vocation and Life on the Job
Virginia Whitehouse, Associate Professor of Communication
Studies
The subtitle of the Lilly-supported vocations guide
for student interns reveals its mission: The Workbook That Will Make You
Think. more...
Spending the Summer with Emmanuel
Presbyterian Church
James
Fischl '03 -- Religion Major

fund my senior year at Whitworth University. But by the end I had come to
see this dive into the history of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church of Spokane,
Wash., as a blessing. more...
