Whitworth University International Programs
International
students interested in studying at Whitworth:
Whitworth has a long tradition of welcoming
international students who are attracted to the university's mission of
providing an education of mind and heart. Students come from more than
20 countries
around the globe to engage in all aspects of campus life at Whitworth University,
including athletics, campus ministry, community service, student leadership
and organizations including the International Club, Global Nomads, Hawaiian
Club, Le Cercle Francais and Olé -- Club de Espanol. International
students enrich the Whitworth community with their perspectives and join
with all of our students in preparing to be thoughtful and informed global
citizens.
Whitworth students interested in studying abroad:
Knowledge of a world culture other than one's own is a major learning
goal at Whitworth University. The university offers a wide variety of international
and multicultural courses involving travel, in order to provide the best
opportunity for students to live and learn in vastly different cultural
settings. In these off-campus venues, students acquire understanding
that helps form their value systems, priorities and commitments to serve
a world in need. Participants return better prepared to live in an interdependent
world.
