Application process:
Complete the Whitworth scholarship application. In addition, an essay explaining your career goals is required, along with a letter of reference from the athletic training faculty.
Consider the following questions: Why do you want to be an athletic trainer? What are your hopes and dreams for the future as they relate to your profession? Do you see yourself continuing on to graduate school right away, waiting a few years or not going at all? How does your faith connect to your future plans? (We understand the changing nature of both goals and plans, but your essay should explain and clarify your current direction.)
This scholarship is an add-on to the student’s financial-aid award. |
