STAR Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Scholarship
Background
The STAR Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Scholarship was established in 2005 by Stephen Schaefer and his associates at STAR. STAR is a regional sports-therapy and rehabilitation facility that has hired a number of graduates from the Whitworth Athletic Training Program. Because of the quality of preparation that they have seen in the Whitworth graduates, their wish is to establish this scholarship for a junior-level student in the Whitworth Athletic Training Program, to encourage that student’s initiative, leadership, responsibility and excellence in both the academic and clinical setting of athletic training.
