Whitworth-ICN Student

Established in 1968, the Intercollegiate College of Nursing (ICN) is a unique consortium established by Whitworth, Washington State University, Eastern Washington University and Gonzaga University. Faculty, staff and instructional resources for the program are housed at 2917 W. Fort George Wright Drive in Spokane.

The undergraduate nursing major, leading to the bachelor of science degree in nursing, prepares students for professional nursing practice. Upon successful completion of the undergraduate program, students are eligible to take the licensing examination for registered nurses.

Note: Students attending ICN apply to and receive financial aid through Washington State University. Whitworth academic scholarships do not apply to the ICN program. The Whitworth Financial Aid Office staff is always available to assist students making the transition from Whitworth's financial-aid processes to WSU's.

Upon completion of graduation requirements, ICN students will receive a joint diploma issued by Whitworth and Washington State University.
