Test Requirements
Students interested in attending veterinary school should check with
their prospective institutions for test requirements. Some schools require
the Veterinary College Admission Test (VCAT), while others prefer the
Graduate Record Examiniation (GRE) or Medical College Admission Test (MCAT).
The VCAT is designed to measure achievement in areas critical for success
in veterinary medical school. It consists of approximately 230 multiple
choice questions, and measures five content areas: verbal ability, biology,
chemistry, quantitative ability and reading comprehension. For more information,
please see the VCAT
website. |
