The chemistry department is committed to providing an educational, interesting, enjoyable and SAFE laboratory environment. In order to support the educational environment while minimizing the risk of accidents, the department has developed a set of safety rules. These "Big Ten" rules are intended to ensure your safety and will be strictly enforced. Violations may lead to dismissal from a lab class and/or a failing grade for that experiment.
