Group Visits

The Whitworth Admissions Office is happy to offer campus visits for groups of 10 to 30 guests from high schools, community groups, and organizations who are high school sophomores and older. The following policies ensure that we will be able to provide your group with a quality campus visit.

• Reservations for group visits are required and must be made at least two (2) weeks in advance of your intended visit.
  
  
• To provide the best service to all visitors, the admissions office can accommodate two (2) group visits each week during the academic school year.  We cannot accommodate group visits during Whitworth's school breaks, or during finals week or holidays.  Group visits during the summer are handled on a case-by-case basis.
  
  
• Once you submit a Group Visit Request Form, a visit coordinator will contact you regarding our ability to accommodate your group.  Your visit is confirmed when you receive an official schedule from the Whitworth Admissions Office.
  
  
• A group visit consists of a campus tour and/or an admissions-information presentation. Please note that all tours are walking tours. If inclement weather is predicted, please bring appropriate attire, e.g. umbrellas.
  
  
• Group size is limited to 30 students who are current high school sophomores or older. We require at least one chaperone for every 10 students. Chaperones are required to attend all activities with visiting students.
  
  
• Final visitor count and schedule confirmation are required one week prior to your visit. We may not be able to accommodate future visit requests for groups that cancel with fewer than three days' advance notice. Whitworth staff and students make an extra effort to welcome and accommodate visitors, so please plan accordingly.
  
  
• If your group arrives more than 30 minutes late, we cannot guarantee that a tour guide will be available; if none can be found, it may be necessary for us to cancel your visit.
  
  
• If your group requires special assistance, please indicate this on your Group Visit Request Form.

Note: If you are planning visits to other colleges in the area, Whitworth is approximately 30 minutes from Gonzaga University and 60 minutes from Eastern Washington University.
