Whitworth Snapshot Campus Visit Program

Snapshot is the ultimate Whitworth visit experience! Join us Oct. 16-17 for this two-day, one-night event exclusively for high school seniors and their parents. Get the big picture of Whitworth as you explore campus, attend classes that interest you, discover opportunities outside the classroom, and mingle with members of the Whitworth community. Zoom in on Whitworth's student life by sampling campus cuisine, spending the night in a residence hall, and joining in current student activities. Finally, focus on the admissions and financial aid processes and learn what it takes to become a Whitworthian. If you're lucky, you may even get your picture taken with the Whitworth Pirate!

Date
Snapshot begins Sunday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m., and concludes Monday, Oct. 17, at approximately 2 p.m.

Cost
Event participation is $30 per student and $15 per parent. Student registration includes on-campus lodging, three meals, event T-shirt and the program. Parent registration includes three meals and the program. After the registration deadline (Sunday, Oct. 9), registration fees are non-refundable.

Registration
To register and submit the event participation fee, please complete the online registration form. Space is limited, so please register early! Please note: Registration is not complete until your event participation fee has been received.

Overnight Stay
As part of the Snapshot program, high school seniors are invited to stay overnight with our current students in a residence hall on campus. Your overnight host will introduce you to other students, residence hall programs, and campus activities. You will need to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel and toiletries (a sleeping pad or air mattress is optional). And try to get a little sleep, okay?

Transportation
Transportation is available between campus and the Spokane airport, train station or bus depot for students traveling without a parent or guardian. Shuttles will be scheduled on an individual basis, so please request transportation at least two weeks prior to your visit to guarantee the availability of our drivers.

If you'll be driving yourself to/from the airport, please allow at least 40 minutes for your drive to the Whitworth campus.

Parents
Parents and guests, we encourage you to attend Snapshot with your son or daughter to ask questions that they may not consider and to help them process their experience. The parent registration fee includes three meals on campus and the program. Since campus housing is limited to students, here are some suggestions for nearby accommodations.
