Whitworth University Community in Action: Taking the Plunge
Welcome to college! It's exciting, right? Moving away from home, getting to know new people, living in a dorm, sharing a bathroom with 40 other people, taking classes.... Okay, so maybe it can be a little much all at once. If you're feeling the need to understand how to face new and challenging situations, come join us for The Weekend. You'll meet fellow adventurers, hear from four great speakers who know and understand the Whitworth community, and have the opportunity to play.
The Weekend is Whitworth University's campus-wide fall retreat. It's a great way for students to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones. We'll spend time studying scripture, sharing ideas and meals, playing and worshipping together as we are challenged to hear the entire gospel and respond with the whole of our lives. And did we mention PLAY?
The Weekend is sponsored by the Associated Students of Whitworth University and the Whitworth Chaplains' Office.
