Hrabowski argues that science education can improve national economy and the overall well being of citizens. However, he also identifies obstacles in meeting those goals. Please write a two-page essay (double-spaced) addressing all of the following:

  • Explain which piece of data presented concerns you most.

  • Give a specific illustration of why that concern is important drawing from your own experiences with your school, family, and/or community.

  • Explain specifically what you believe should happen to overcome this obstacle.
