Fall Kickoff Event
Each year, faculty and staff gather for a lunchtime program at the beginning of the new academic term. At this community-building event, Whitworth's president welcomes everyone back to campus, area vice presidents introduce new hires, and topics of interest to the community are presented.  A catered lunch is served. President's Christmas Dinner
Whitworth celebrates the beginning of the Christmas season with a dinner hosted by President Beck Taylor and his wife, Julie, for all Whitworth faculty, students and staff. This year’s celebration will take place on Monday, Dec. 3, from 4-7 p.m., in the HUB.

President's Coffees for Staff
Whitworth's president meets with staff over coffee several times during the academic term. The coffees are held in Seeley Mudd Chapel, from 8-8:45 a.m. Refreshments are served. Each coffee features a devotion by the president, along with administrative updates, introduction of new staff employees, announcements from those in attendance, and questions and answers about topics of interest to our staff. Employees are notified each August of the schedule for the upcoming academic year.

Faculty and Staff Awards and Retirement Banquet
The Faculty and Staff Awards and Retirement Banquet is a special evening program designed to recognize faculty and staff for their years of service to the university and to thank and honor those retiring from Whitworth. This event is sponsored through a partnership with Spokane Teacher's Credit Union.
