Designated Gift Priorities: Hixson Union Building Dining Hall Expansion
In support of the Whitworth 2021 Vision and Strategic Plan, construction is under way on a significant addition and remodel to the existing Hixson Union Building dining hall which will be completed in time for the start of classes in fall 2012. The $6.6 million project will include new food court areas featuring two large woks, for preparing a variety of Asian cuisines, and a WoodStone oven for Italian pasta dishes and pizza. The new space will also feature seating for 200, including a mezzanine level that can be turned into a room for private functions seating 90.
