Whitworth relies on consistent annual support from alumni, parents and friends. Regardless of the amount of money they are able to contribute, members of The 1890 Society express a desire to further the university's mind-and-heart mission for its students. When you become a member of The 1890 Society, you join hundreds of others who annually help Whitworth achieve higher goals by providing for various campus needs including scholarships, facilities and departmental resources.

Guidelines for Membership
Membership in The 1890 Society at Whitworth is open to anyone who makes an annual contribution for three or more consecutvie years. The following guidelines apply:
- Membership is for the university's fiscal year, July 1-June 30. Qualifying contributions for current membership are due by June 30.
- Members remain in The 1890 Society as long as they continue to donate each fiscal year.
