Darlyne (Walker) Vaughn, '55, died Feb. 19. She earned her degree in nursing from Deaconess Hospital in Spokane and a B.S. in biology from Whitworth, then worked as a registered nurse in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and in Spokane. At the time of her retirement, she had completed 26 years of service at Spokane's Valley Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, five sons, 11 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and a brother. Kenneth Degerness, '56.
