DEATHs

Zelma (Morgan) Doig, '33, died Sept. 6. Following their 1938 marriage, she and Laurence Doig, x'33, did mission work for the Presbyterian Church in California and Arizona before moving to Sitka, Alaska, in 1943. In addition to being a homemaker and mother, she worked in the library at Sheldon Jackson College before the couple moved to Juneau, where she was a librarian at the State of Alaska Library until her retirement. She is survived by three children, including Clare Doig, '67, and a granddaughter, Yvette (Madsen) Nichols, '86.
