Heather Steckler Parker, '96, (above) earned the 2009 Whitworth Recent Alumna Award for her work as a world-class soprano. She holds an M.M. from Eastman School of Music and made her New York opera debut at Alice Tully Hall as a winner of the 2002 Puccini Foundation Competition.
