These days, we both love working for a nonprofit Christian organization, Partners International, based in Spokane. Our work feeds the love of missions that we developed at Whitworth, and allows us to express that love to others by encouraging involvement in missions around the world. On a daily basis, we are matching up our sense of calling with the education we received at Whitworth, and we feel blessed to be able to do that.
As students, we both worked hard to make Whitworth financially affordable – through focusing on our studies and working summer jobs, which allowed us to supplement the generous support of our parents. Scholarships played a key role for both of us, making it possible for us to graduate practically debt-free.
And now, as alumni, we feel it is important to help provide others with the same kinds of opportunities we’ve had. Our Whitworth educations were springboards into developing our passions and becoming equipped with the skills necessary to pursue them. We therefore want to give back and allow other students to have a meaningful experience at Whitworth, too.
Thank you for joining us in investing in new generations of Whitworth students as they seek to understand their calling.
