On most weekday evenings during the school year, Whitworth Fund Phonathon callers are hard at work calling alumni, parents and other donors, asking for support of The Whitworth Fund. Each year the phonathon raises more than $200,000 to benefit student scholarships and other campus needs. The Whitworth Fund Phonathon provides a unique connection between Whitworth and its donors, because the students are direct links to campus information -- and as recipients of financial aid themselves, they are able to thank donors personally for their support. In recent years, phonathon callers have also taken up the job of being prayer warriors for donors; the students frequently receive prayer requests from those whom they call, and they lift up those concerns at weekly phonathon meetings. As educational costs rise, The Whitworth Fund Phonathon's annual fund-raising goals increase as well, so your consistent and increased support is more important than ever.
