The Whitworth Fund Phonathon reached its $210,000 goal in February 2008 and went on to raise a total of $241,799 by the end of the school year, with 2,796 gifts and pledges from Whitworth alumni, parents and friends to benefit The Whitworth Fund, The Parents’ Fund and the senior class gift. The average gift or pledge was just over $86.
