Graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies are held in May each year. Students eligible to participate in the ceremonies are those who have completed all graduation requirements as determined by their program(s) of study by the end of the spring term. Students who will not have completed all graduation requirements by the end of spring term but will have completed their degrees by Jan. 31 of the following year may complete an Academic Petition Form and submit it to the Whitworth Registrar's Office for approval to participate in commencement.
