ROTC Commissioning Service, Seeley G. Mudd Chapel. This ceremony celebrates participants'
transition from ROTC status to service as commissioned officers in the U.S. Army.

Reception honoring Whitworth Continuing Studies bachelor's-degree candidates: Hixson Union Building (HUB), Multipurpose Room. This is an opportunity for students who obtained their degrees through the Whitworth in the Evening Continuing Studies Program to mingle and celebrate with fellow students, faculty and administration. No charge for the student;
$5 for each guest. RSVP required: 509.777.3222. |

English Department Senior Reading, William P. Robinson Teaching Theatre, Weyerhaeuser Hall. This is the time to celebrate the works that graduating English majors have created in their capstone class. Students on the writing track will read their poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction, while students on the literature track will briefly share their portfolios through an audiovisual presentation. |

Senior Communion and Commissioning Service, Cowles Memorial Auditorium. All seniors, parents and guests are invited. This worship service includes faculty and student reflections on shared experiences of Christian faith, as well as the opportunity to pray for members of the Class of 2008. Communion will be served. |

Building Recital Hall. Musical performances by members of the
Class of 2008. |

Senior Reflections, Cowles Auditorium. Everyone is invited to enjoy a showcase of senior-class talent. Many of the university’s awards for outstanding seniors will be presented here, along with the annual senior slideshow, a Whitworth tradition. Admission to this event is free.
