General Transfer Information:
- Maximum 96 quarter (64 semester) credits accepted from any combination
of accredited two-year institutions.
- 94 semester credits accepted from accredited four-year institutions,
or combination of two & four year institutions. Every student must complete a minimum 32 credits at Whitworth.
- Courses not accepted if: course was non college level or vocational/technical,
grade was D+ or lower, course was incomplete or graded "no credit",
course repeated significant content from previously taken course.
- Credits will be accepted from Bible schools accredited by ABHE on a 2/3 basis providing the grades meet the criteria stated in number 3 above.
- Courses meeting Whitworth's General Requirements for Graduation indicated
by codes below on Transfer

- Courses taken at two-year institutions always transfer as lower-division
credit, but may fulfill upper-division major requirements if content
is similar to a Whitworth offered course.
- Course numbers not listed on the Transfer
Equivalency Guide for an institution are not accepted. If you feel
another course should be considered, contact the Registrar's Office.

- Transfer students are encouraged to contact the Whitworth University
Admissions Office to determine the applicability of their coursework
to specific bachelor's degrees. General information can be given over

is available by sending your request along with an official copy of

Associate of Arts or Science Degree Information:
Students transferring with approved associate of arts or
science degree will receive:
- Junior standing (60-64 semester credits)
- Waiver of all general requirements, except:

Core 150 Worldview Studies I: Christian Worldview Perspectives
Core 250 Worldview Studies II: The Rationalist Worldview
Core 350 Worldview Studies III: Applied Ethics, Public Policy and
Worldviews
- Biblical Literature -- three semester credits in the Old Testament,
New Testament, or one or more books of the Bible (usually taken
at Whitworth).
- Modern Language -- eight semester credits, 15 quarter credits
or a full year of college credit in a modern language, including
American Sign Language, are required.
- Maximum 96 quarter (64 semester) credits accepted from any combination
of accredited two-year institutions when an associate of arts or science
degree has been earned.
