Whitworth University Student Success Team

A Team of Student Life and Academic Affairs
Whitworth created the Student Success Team (SST) to proactively engage students who may need additional support while at the university. The SST includes representatives from Student Life and Academic Affairs divisions to provide holistic support for students. The team is chaired by the Assistant Dean of Off-Campus Students and the Associate Provost of Instruction.

The SST meets weekly to follow up with individual students who are personally or academically at-risk during their time at Whitworth. From these meetings, a plan is developed and followed up by members of the team to support these students and connect them with the most advantageous resources. SST members then meet one-on-one with students to collaboratively develop individual plans for their success at Whitworth. The goal is to see more students find success inside and outside of school because of early intervention, thereby ensuring healthy students and a thriving campus.
