Start reconnecting with classmates on Friday night, May 13. On Saturday, we'll join with alumni from the classes of 1961 and earlier for a luncheon.

Friday, May 13
6 p.m. English Department Senior Reading
Weyerhaeuser Hall, William P. Robinson Teaching Theatre
This is the time to celebrate the works that graduating English majors have created in their capstone class. Students on the writing track will read their poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction, while students on the literature track will briefly share their portfolios through an audiovisual presentation.
8 p.m. Senior Communion and Commissioning Service
Cowles Memorial Auditorium
All seniors, parents and guests invited. This worship service includes faculty and student reflections on shared experiences of Christian faith, as well as the opportunity to pray for the members of the Class of 2011. Communion will be served.
Saturday, May 14
10 a.m.-noon Senior Art Exhibit
Lied Center for the Visual Arts, Bryan Oliver Gallery
Closing reception begins at 11 a.m. The exhibit is available until noon.
10:30 a.m. Alumni Campus Tour
Depart from HUB
Walking and golf cart options will both be offered. Enjoy a guided tour around the Whitworth campus to view the newest buildings and reminisce about campus walks of the past.

We will honor all graduates of 1961 and earlier, with special attention given to the Class of 1951, celebrating their 60th reunion.

See a slideshow presentation of Whitworth’s history and future by Dale Soden, professor of history and author of An Enduring Venture of Mind & Heart: An Illustrated History of Whitworth University.
3 p.m. Senior Honors Recital
Seeley G. Mudd Chapel
Musical performances by members of the Class of 2011.
8 p.m. Senior Reflections
Cowles Memorial Auditorium
Everyone is invited to enjoy a showcase of senior-class talent. Many of the university’s awards for outstanding seniors will be presented here, along with the annual senior slide show, a Whitworth tradition.
Sunday, May 15
10 a.m. Baccalaureate Service

Reserved seating is available for alumni.
11 a.m. *Brunch ($8 per person)

Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena, 720 W. Mallon Ave.
This event is free of charge. There is reserved seating available for 50-plus alumni who have RSVP’d. There is a fee for parking at the arena.
Note: Mind & Hearth, the coffeehouse in the HUB, will be open from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, and from 8 a.m.-2p.m. Sunday.
The bookstore will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, and from
9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday.
