Career Services Resources

• Job postings: Through the Whitworth JobBank, Whitworth alumni have no-cost access to an online employer job posting board. Alumni also have access to external job-posting sites, including MonsterTrak, NACElink and Career Builder.

• Mock interviews: Career services has created a mock interview program – in person or telephone-based – for alumni wishing to prepare for interviews and receive a critique of their strengths and weaknesses.

• Résumé services: In addition to free access to in-person résumé assistance, the career services office assists out-of-area alumni in the creation of résumés, cover letters and graduate school applications. These documents can be submitted to careerservices@whitworth.edu.

• Reciprocal services: Alumni from Whitworth can link to career-service centers at other colleges and universities across the country. E-mail Whitworth Career Services for additional information.

• Career counseling: All alumni have access to career, vocational, job-change counseling through Whitworth Career Services.

• Employment fairs: Whitworth alumni are welcome guests at the Partnership in Employment (EWU, Gonzaga, WSU and Whitworth) Career Fair. Career services also provides invitations for alumni to attend various out-of-state job fairs and events.

• Alumni career network: An online network for students and alumni attempting to build networking contacts both locally and nationally.

• Additional services: Career services also offer extended hours, various workshops and library privileges to alumni.
