All of Whitworth's football games in 2008 will be broadcast on KSBN 1230 am in Spokane. In addition all men's Northwest Conference basketball games and all away women's basketball NWC games for the 2008-09 season will be heard on the same station. Whitworth is happy to continue a relationship with KSBN that has existed for more than ten years.

Bob CastleBob Castle is back as the voice of the Pirates in 2008-2009. Bob has called Whitworth games for the past eight years, as well as in 1997-98. Bob has more than 17 years in radio. He is currently the program director for newstalker 1510 KGA and KJRB 790 THE FAN. He is also the producer of Spokane's top-rated morning show - the Jay and Kevin Show on KDRK FM. Bob's experience as a sports broadcaster includes stints as the voice of Washington State women's basketball, Gonzaga University baseball and local high schools.
