Chad Flett had two of the Pirates' three hits in the game. Flett and Billy Rigsby had back to back singles with two outs in the ninth inning, the only inning the Pirates had more than one runner on base.

The teams will play again on Thursday at Whitworth beginning at 4:00 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for Avista Stadium in Spokane, but renovations to the home of the Spokane Indians are not completed.
